My Favorite Song By Owl City

ADAM YOUNG, salah satu penyanyi favoritku sejak SMP. Pertama suka karena lagu Fireflies kemudian dilanjutkan dengan The bird and the worm lalu Vanilla Twilight dan kemudian hampir semua lagunya kusuka. Hehe

Owl City di bentuk tahun 2007 dengan vokalis tunggal Adam dari sebuah  proyek musik elektronik oleh penyanyi-pengarang lagu dan multi-instrumentalis. Genre yang diusung antara lain elektronik dan alternatif. Awal kemunculannya musik owl city lebih banyak memakai instrumen elektronik yang simple tapi asik banget buat di dengar.

Kenapa aku suka owl city ? liriknya itu looohh... gak biasa hahaha. Adam lebih sering menggunakan diksi-diksi yang unik dalam setiap lirik di lagunya, jadi dalam sekali dengar kita pasti susah menangkap maksud dari lagunya. Musik dari owl city juga punya ciri khas dan easy listening. Kalau kalian mendengarkan 3 sampai 4 lagu owl city pasti sudah langsung bisa tau ciri khas dari musiknya.

   Pasti penyanyi cantik asal Amerika ini sudah tidak asing lagi kita dengar namanya. Kesuksesan album debutnya Yours Truly (2013) menjadikannya sebagai penyanyi muda wanita Amerika yang patut di perhitungkan.  Dalam lagu "Almost Is  Never Enough" ini Ariana Grande berduet dengan Nathan Sykes yang merupakan salah satu dari personil The Wanted. 

    Kalau kita perhatikan, lirik pada lagu ini sangat dalam. yaitu tentang seorang wanita dan pria yang saling suka tapi tidak pernah di katakan. Namun akhirnya, mereka berpisah saat mereka tau mereka saling jatuh cinta .  sedih ya sedih ??  :""")

Pasti kalian sudah tidak asing lagi dengan film UP bukan ? yap.. film petualangan yang terkenal karena beribu-ribu balon yang membuat rumah bisa terbang itu memang tidak hanya menghadirkan tokoh Russel yang lucu dan menggemaskan. Tapi tokoh Carl dan Ellie juga menarik perhatian. Bgaimana tidak, tokoh Carl dan Ellie yang digambarkan telah berteman sejak kecil dan memiliki impian dapat menuju air terjun yang berada di amerika selatan dan dapat membangun rumah disana. Tokoh Carl yang sangat setia dengan Ellie, bahkan saat Ellie sudah meninggal Carl tetap berniat mewujudkan cita-cita mereka. sungguh cerita yang romantis :')

Tapi kali ini, aku bukan ingin membahas film produksi pixar animations itu, melainkan ingin membahas OST dari film tersebut. Ini dia salah satu lagu di dalam film yang sangat romantis tersebut.
